For us, nothing is more excited to celebrating upcoming holidays and new year by working on a brand new template (Adora) and introduce new feature (Dashboard) for our Statistics plugin.
Adora and Dashboard feature will be released with the stable version of 0.8.0 (currently in the first beta). When will Solidres 0.8.0 become stable? We’d like to announce the availability of Solidres 0.8.0 Beta and other updates for modules / plugins, this Beta release is available for subscribers only.
Please note that this release is for testing purpose, it must be installed in a Joomla site where no previous Solidres versions are installed. The sample data in this release is also temporarily disabled, it will be re-enabled when 0.8.0 stable is released.

Solidres 0.8.0 has reached its 85% development milestone with nearly 20 bug fixes (not included some fixes that we backported into 0.7.1 and 0.7.2) and 30 new features/enhancements. At this moment there are two pending new features which we are working to complete: Customer Control Panel and Discount. The new Discount feature will allow asset owner to specify flexible discount rules like:
Discounting on the number of booked rooms,
Discounting on the number of days booked in advance,
Discounting on the room type’s availability.
Discounting on the number of booked nights.

We’d like to show the first preview of our upcoming Offline credit card payment plugin. This plugin is useful when you only want to collect credit card info (not process/capture it) and store it for manual processing later. This new plugin will be compatible with our upcoming 0.8.0 release.
As requested by many users, we are working on a front end customer dashboard, this feature allows your customers to manage their reservations (changing dates, cancel reservation) and their profile from front end. Below is a screenshot of the current development branch.
This feature will be compatible with Solidres 0.8+, Solidres 0.8 is also in development, we will share more info about them in later posts.
