Solidres development updates Sep 2024
We want to share an overview of the next major Solidres 3.2.0 release which has a lot of new features, improvements, and bug fixes:
- New router: The Solidres router is refactored, removing the ID from the automatically generated URL. The code is also cleaner and more maintainable. The new router is also applied to the Hub and Experience plugin.
- Tourist tax new charge type: Per person per stay
- Venox 2 replaces the old and out-of-date Colorbox JS library

- New thumbnail generation feature for Experience Slideshow and Gallery for better appearance and consistency
We are also constantly replacing deprecated Joomla API calls with the ultimate goal of making Solidres fully compatible with Joomla 5 natively without the need for the Backward Compatibility plugin.
